Tehsildar Kishtwar issues prohibitory order to make footpaths encroachment free

KISHTWAR, Aug 25: Taking strong note of encroachment of footpaths and dumping of construction and other material along road side, Tehsildar Kishtwar today issued the prohibitory order directing the people, businessmen and others not to block the pathways and roads at District Headquarter Kishtwar.
As per the order No 619-24/TK/W/18-19 Dated 25-08-2018, the copy of which is available with "Early Times", Tehsildar Kishtwar Shokat Hayat Mattoo stated that it has come to the notice of the administration that during construction of buildings and other works, the construction material is being dumped for days together on the main road, interior roads of Kishtwar and connecting link roads to nearby habitations which creates the obstruction for the pedestrian and traffic movements as well, beside the wrong parking of the vehicles along with permanently parked vehicles outside the motor vehicle mechanic shops on main roads are also causing traffic jams as well as inconvenience to the general public.
He also stated that some shopkeepers are putting merchandise material either beyond their shops or on footpaths as a result of which the people are facing the problem.
Tehsildar Kishtwar in his order also mentioned about the domestic animals left unattended by their owners. The order called upon all the shopkeepers as well as general public to avoid any such kind of unlawful activity which will create nuisance/obstruction/physical confront to the people in and outside Kishtwar town-otherwise the defaulters shall be dealt under section 133 Cr Pc (Public Nuisance).
