AVM appreciates role of SC for hearing case of Reservation in promotions | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 25: A meeting of Aarakshan Virodhi Manch Jammu held at Domana under the chairmanship of Ram Paul Seth President Aarakshan Virodhi Manch Jammu. While addressing the gathering, he appreciated the role of the Supreme Court of India for hearing the case of Reservation in Promotions critically. He alleged that all the political parties are ignoring the merit and reason for the sake of vote bank of the SC and ST. Reservation and reservation in promotions in particular have created great dissatisfaction among general population as it create a workforce of inefficient thereby effecting govt efficiency . Madan Lal Narad General Secretary of the Aarakshan Virodhi Manch Jammu warned that the government of India to avoid interfering into this matter as the Honorable Supreme Court of India has already clarified earlier in Nagraj vs union of India judgment. Government must follow that and stop creating division in the society for the sake of SC ST votes. He warned that general caste Interlingua as well as gen .population is keeping the track of one sided love of govt. and will be reciprocated suitably by voting against present govt in next election. Manmohan Sharma vice president of the Manch highly appreciated services of Advocate Prashant Bhushan for raising the facts of the case. He said when a person has been given the job against reserved category quota and he or she is enjoying all the facilities like other than what is the necessity for out of turn promotion superseding others. He also appealed the all political parties to rise above the politics of vote bank and work for the national unity and integrity or ready to face the wrath of general population in next elections. |
