| DDC orders to shift Sub post office from Kiryana Shop | | | MS Nazki

Poonch, Aug 24: Taking cognizance of report of this newspaper district development commissioner Rajouri Mohd Ajaz Asad expressed anguish over running of Sub Post Office from a Kiryana Shop in Behrot Village sources said here today. They said DDC constituted a team and asked the senior post-master of Rajouri district to visit the Behrot Village and shift the Sub Post Office from the Kiryana Shop to some separate room with proper delivery system of mail etc. He said it was unfortunate part of the picture that locals were not getting their mails in a proper way and the mockery of the shopkeeper with the public mail was not justified. DDC issued directions for delivering the mail of the people of area in time and in a proper way. He said no complaint should not be there on the part of villagers. Any person who is found at fault will be dealt with stern action. He also asked to submit report to his office within two days. |
