Six PDP leaders have revolted against Mehbooba after the BJP pulled out of the coalition government in June. The BJP accused the PDP of discrimination against the regions of Jammu and Ladakh where the saffron party has won all the 25 seats, the highest ever in the 89-member house. The PDP rebels accused Mehbooba of nepotism and corruption and ignoring their concerns. The rebels have refused to mend fences with Mehbooba and are in touch with Lone. |
