JAMMU, Aug 26: A state of the art eye care centre named Guru Nanak Dev Netralaya opened in Channi Himmat, Jammu today. The centre was inaugurated by chief guest Sudarshan Singh Wazir (prominent leader and former chairman Gurudwara Prabandhak Board) .
Other dignitaries present on the occasion were Director Health Services Dr Gurjeet Singh Soodan, prominent ophthalmologist Dr S S Soodan, dermatologist Dr H S Soodan, Manmohan Singh (DIG). With a vision of sight for all, Guru Nanak Dev Netralaya aims to provide quality and affordable eye care services across all sections of community through a committed team. Doctor couple Dr Tanpreet Pal Singh (Phaco-Refractive and Glaucoma Specialist) and Dr Navdeep Kaur (Paediatric ophthalmologist, Squint and Retina specialist) will be providing their expert services in the centre. Both of them underwent their specialized fellowship training from premier institutes of Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai and L.V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad and have rich experience in treatment of various eye ailments. Equipped with top-class facilities, the new centre will serve as a one stop solution to all eye care needs. |
