ABVP, AISF activists join NSUI

Bhaderwah, Sept 11: Many student activists of ABVP and AISF joined National Students Union of India (NSUI) in which College Vice President of AISF Simran Malik and College General Secretary of ABVP Dikshat Kumar College Secretary Tosif Ganani were among the new entrants.
On the occasion Simran Malik appointed as NSUI College President, Vice President Dikshat Kumar, Mohammad Yousuf, Mohammad Ayoub, Farzeen Bagwan. College General Secretary Umar Farooq, Babar Azam, Abid Imran, Amir Hussain, Sajid Pervaiz, Arif Shameem. While addressing the new entrants Mehran said NSUI is today, not only India's, but one of the world's largest students' movements. Mehran also added the premiere students' body of India represents the hopes and aspirations of millions of India students, irrespective of their caste, creed, regional, religious or linguistic identities. Also Mehran threw light on history of NSUI, which is the largest democratic students' union of the world and had been founded by late Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi by amalgamating Kerala Students' Union and West Bengal Chattra Parishad on April 9, 1969. Others who joined were Ayoob Sabri, Usman Bhat,Touseef Ganani, Afzal Rashid, Amir Khan,Shanawaz Ganani, Shameem Irfan , Adil Hussain, Niaz Ali, Mudasir Ahmed, Adil Nazir, Dawood, Arif Ashraf, Jhangeer Khan, Abid Jaan, Asif Raza etc.
