Early Times Report Jammu, Sep 11: The ongoing indefinite Chain Hunger Strike Of Teachers' joint Action Committee at Press Club Jammu today entered 13th consecutive day whereas it entered 9th consecutive day at Srinagar. The indefinite Chain Hunger Strike at Press Club Jammu was organized under the leadership of Provincial President JKRTTF Rajesh Jamwal. The teachers who are on the 24 hour fast on the 12th Day of chain Hunger strike include Raj Kumar Dubey, Dinesh Singh, Rajeshwar Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Suresh Kumar, Ajay Singh, Subash lal, Raghubir Singh, Pushp Raj, Pawan Singh, Jimmy sambyal, A.K Singh, Pawan Sharma, Mohd Aslam, Yash Paul , Brahm Dutt, Surinder Sharma, Bodh Raj and Bishan Shastri. A large number of teachers on the occasion also held a strong sit in protest demonstration on the 13th day against the casual approach of the government towards SSA teachers and masters who have been deprived of 7th Pay Commission till date and their salaries have not been delinked. While addressing the gathering at Jammu Rajesh Jamwal accused the government over its non seriousness towards SSA teachers and masters whose families are living in mental trauma. He said that due to the casual approach of the government these teachers are unable to provide proper facilities to their families including proper food and clothing to their children and required medicines to their ailing parents. |
