| Locals demand macadamization of Hirri Road | | |

Kupwara, Sept 11: The main support system of modern lifestyle, are turning into a major annoyance for people in Hirri Trehgam area of District Kupwara. Many see commuting as a "great inconvenience" of their everyday life. The condition of the link road of which leads to Higher Secondary School Hirri Trehgam and residential areas has as worsened. Huge potholes on the stretch give tough time to the Students and others, while bumpy ride on this road leads to bad driving experience.
According to our correspondent Early Times, Said that the Residents and Students of the area have appealed the concerned authorities to get this link Road macadamized as the same were in dilapidated condition for the past several years.
"The locals alleged that the children and elderly from these areas suffer chest related problems due to the dust emanating from these roads. The locals demanded repairs and macadamization of these roads stretch to make it motor-able and save their students,children and elderly from picking up chest infections". |
