Jammu, Sept 11: A minor girl on Tuesday died in a hospital here after she got critically injured due to an accidental fire in Billawar tehsil of Kathua district in Jammu and Kashmir.
"A girl Gunjan Thakur, (3), late Monday night suffered critical injury when the licensed weapon she was fiddling with went off accidentally in Billawar," a family member said here on Tuesday.
They said that injured girl was taken to district hospital from where she was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu.
"She was operated upon but her condition deteriorated this morning and she succumbed to her injuries," family member said.
He alleged that the doctors did not attend the girl despite repeated requests after surgery and she died. |
