| Traffic jam on Kashmir highway after lorry breaks down near Ramban | | | Agencies
Hundreds of vehicles were left stranded on Jammu-Srinagar highway on Wednesday due to a traffic jam between Battery Chesma and Banihal.
An eye witness said that hundreds of vehicles were stranded on the road for hours together.
DSP Traffic NHW Banihal Vishal Manhas said that a truck developed technical snag in the middle of the road at Battery Cheshma near Ramban, triggering heavy traffic jam.
He said traffic was restored at about 1 pm at Battery Cheshma and regulation of stranded traffic is underway. |
