Early Times Report

Jammu, Sept 22: ABVP President of Jammu University Ravail Parihar and Aniket Tagotra Media Secretary Jammu University ABVP said ABVP to start agitation in JU if the demands of the students are not be fulfilled.
Ravail said that the admission of the concerned departments of the university has collected Wi-Fi fee from the students, which is not justifiable because every students have not the provision to use Wi-Fi. In most of the affiliated colleges of the university has the provision of free Wi-Fi facility but in main campus there is no such type of provision, so they want that there should be free Wi-Fi facility in the campus, Smart card fee also collected from the students, but not provided by the University and the students cannot borrow any book from central library for reading purpose.
While taking up Scholars issues, he further said that every university of the country has a provision of fellowship for all Non-JRF scholars but in our university is not any such type of provision so they demanded that there should be a provision of Fellowship for all Non-JRF scholars and the amount at least should be 12000 for Ph.D scholars and 10000 for M.Phil scholars so that they can conduct quality research.
He also said that they were also going to rise some genuine issues of students, which are very essential for the development and progress of students, these issues are as opening of new constructed hostels, provision of self-attestation of documents, bus services from Akhnoor, Samba, Kathua, Purkhoo, Arnia and R.S.Pura range so that the students may not suffer.
