| Seminar on Gandhian philosophy organized | | |  Early Times Report
jammu, Sept 22: To remember father of the Nation on his 150th birth anniversary, a seminar on Gandhian philosophy was observed today at the premises of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Rehari Jammu. Swachh Bharat mission has created a tremendous impact across Nation.5-6 students spoke on the topic and highlighted the philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi -what he wants from the nation and its people. Radha, Sunita Sharma and Lata Trakru also spoke on the occasion and highlighted the mission of our father of nation Mahatma Gandhi and his vision. Mahatma Gandhi was an apostle of cleanliness and cleanliness was an issue very close to Mahatma Gandhi. He once said that cleanliness and sanitation is even more important than political independence. He led an example by cleaning the toilets himself. We should always take inspiration from Mahatma Gandhi on cleanliness. Principal Rajini Kotwal appreciated the students and staff for their selfless contribution and also encouraged them to follow the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi. |
