GDC RS Pura unit holds Swachhata Hi Seva drive

R.S. Pura, Sept 22: NSS Unit of Government Degree College R.S. Pura under the supervision of Dr. Namita Singh, NSS Programme officer under the guidance of Principal Prof. Kalpana Kesar visited Bal Asharam and Nari Niketan in R.S Pura as a part Swachhata Hi Seva(2018) drive under during the fifth day celebration of commemoration of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
A total of 30 NSS volunteers of the college participated in the event. Proceeding of the programme was initiated by Dr. Namita Singh, NSS Programme Officer. NSS volunteers during their visit to Bal Asharam and Nari Niketan distributed stationery items to the Children. They interacted with them and educated them about relevance of cleanliness and Personal hygiene. NSS volunteers also performed entertaining activities with the children which were thoroughly enjoyed by the children.
A cleanliness drive was jointly conducted by NSS volunteers and children staying in Bal Asharam and Nari Niketan. NSS volunteers under Swachhata Hi Seva Drive w.e.f 17th Sept. 2018 have also participated in other activities.
