BVP Kathua unit organizes 'Guru Vandhan Chhatra Abhinadan'

Kathua, Sept 22: Bharat Vikas Parishad, Kathua Unit organised Guru Vandhan Chhatra Abhinadan programme in Minerva Public High School, Barnoti. Today Dr. Bahrat Bhushan (KAS) , Director Social Welfare Department Jammu & Kashmir Govt. Presided Over the function. Two eminent educationists from the district Sohan Lal Sharma, Retired Lecturer in Education from Hiranagar and Om Prakash Gupta, Retired Headmaster from Kathua were felicitated by presenting a Shawl and memento for their excellent contributions in the field of academics. Symposium on the topic Changing Trends in Teacher - Taught Relationship "Guru Shishya Sambandho Mein Badalti Pravartiyan" was also held in which 10 government and private schools of the area participated.
Tanisha Sharma of Nav Jagriti Niketan Hr. Sec. School, Kharote Morh adjudged to be the first while second and third slots were occupied by Sejal Jasrotia of Kartar Public Hr. Sec. School, Barnoti and Ananya of Minerva Public High School, Kathua respectively.
The winners of the symposium were given mementoes and certificates while all participants were given participation certificates and memntoes. As a mark of respect and honour, the teachers of all participating schools were garlanded and greeted by the students of the respective schools.
