| DC Poonch appoints tainted KAS officer as ARTO | | |

Poonch, Sept 24: Deputy Commissioner Poonch allegedly hand in glove with a local KAS officer has given the charge of Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Poonch who has already been transferred on complaint basis from the same post.
According to sources , many KAS officers are still awaiting their place of posting since long and deputy commissioner Poonch has given the same charge to another officer who has already accused as failure one. Akash and many other locals from Poonch said, the said officer had made the office the hub of corruption and misleading and shifted the office of the department to rural areas from town area without informing higher authorities. Locals have expressed their strong resentments over the charge given to him and accused deputy commissioner for misrule. Taking official comment of transport commissioner in this regard, he expressed his about the issue. Instead of this order locals have demanded for action against deputy commissioner Poonch. |
