JAMMU, Sept 24: The Department of Environmental Sciences of Government College for Women Parade Jammu, organized an exhibition on the theme "Best out of Waste" as a part of solid waste management. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Principal of the college Dr Hemla Aggarwal. On the occasion, the students showcased their beautifully handcrafted items made from waste paper, plastic, match box sticks, wool, cardboard and bangles etc.
Dr Hemla Aggarwal, Principal of the college, lauded the efforts of the department of Environmental Sciences and urged that such events be organized regularly so that the students and environment both are mutually benefitted.
Prominent among others present on the occasion included Anuj Verma, Prem Singh, Lalit Sharma Additional PCCF (Retd), KK Sharma, Director Floriculture (Retd). |
