| DPS Jammu holds career counselling workshop | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 24: Delhi Public School, Jammu organized a Career Counselling workshop for the students of Science & Commerce. Avnish Gulati, Ex-Managing Director, JKB Financial Services and expert in career counseling was the Resource Person on the occasion. He was supported in the session by the School Counsellor, Supreet Kour who conducted interesting activity on "On the Spot Career Choice Assessment" of the students based on their aptitudes and interests.
After the initial Ice-breaking session, Avnish Gulati highlighted the progress graph of some of the eminent professionals in various fields and discussed how one can become highly successful in any field.
He also discussed various career choices available to the students requiring specialized or non-specialized education. The session also included a quiz in which the Resource Person asked various questions and the students gave their answers enthusiastically. The session was very informative and educative for the students.
The special aspect of the session was that it was highly interactive and the students interacted with the Resource Person in a friendly atmosphere. |
