MENDHAR, Oct 11: A Capacity Building Tour organised by Romeo Force for citizens of Poonch District of Jammu and Kashmir under Sadbhavana initiative was Flagged In at Palma.
The eight day tour which started on October 3 and comprised of 21 citizens of Poonch District, visited the religious and historical city Ajmer, Jaipur and Agra and returned back to Jammu on October 10. The Aim of the tour was to expose the citizens to rich historical, religious and cultural heritage of our country and foster brotherhood, harmony and unity in diversity.
These citizens were taken to various places such as Ajmer Sharif, Pushkar City, Ajmer Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, Pink City, Taj Mahal & Fatehpur Sikri. The tour benefitted the citizens immensely as it helped them in understanding the diverse traditions and rich cultural heritage of our nation and also enabled them to know about the progress made by the nation in different spheres. The citizens appreciated the efforts of Indian Army towards organising such tours. |
