| DPS organizes painting competition | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 11: In an endeavour to promote Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a painting competition was organized at DPS Nagbani on the theme of Swachhta Hi Seva.
The students from class IV to VI participated enthusiastically and showed their creativity through their work of art. The competition provided a platform for the students to express themselves through art and cultivate hobbies for overall personality development. Students responded beyond expectation with their brush and colours.
The aim of the competition was to take Swachhta (cleanliness) drive a step further by initiating the participations of the students into keeping the school as well as their houses clean.
The students painted scenes depicting cutting of trees, planting of trees, garbage littered on the streets and people cleaning them. Some of them planted green hills and water flowing through rivers. |
