JAMMU, Oct 11: The Principal and Dean Government Medical College Jammu inaugurated Employees Health Clinic in Medicine OPD and two Assistance Counters for the common masses one in the casualty and one in OPD with the name of "MAY I HELP YOU" to guide and assist the patients and their attendants in getting their treatment and diagnostic tests done without any inconvenience. With the opening of Employees Health Clinic in the Govt. Medical College Hospital Jammu a long pending demand of the employees has been fulfilled. Now the employees of Associated Hospitals can also visit the employees Health Clinic for the health checkups of themselves and their family members and does not have to wait in queues for consultation with the doctors. The Assistance Counters shall be manned by the students of the Ancillary Medical Training Institute, Govt. Medical College Jammu under the supervision of Principal, AMT School Jammu. While speaking on the occasion, Dr. Dara Singh, Medical Superintendent lauded the initiative of the Principal, GMC Jammu and hoped that the general public especially the Patients from far flung areas shall be benefitted by this initiative besides nurturing the seeds f communication skills among the students of the AMT School, GMC Jammu. Among other dignitaries who present on the occasion were Samita Sethi, Administrator Associated Hospitals Jammu, Ansuya Jamwal, Personnel Officer Associated Hospitals,Dy MS GMCH Dr. Rakesh edical Superintendent GMCH, Dr. Rehana Khurshid, Dy.
