JAMMU, Oct 27: In a Public Interest Litigation seeking establishment of eye-bank, a Division Bench of State High Court Comprising Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur and Justice Sindhu Sharma expressed displeasure and observed that the affidavit filed by the Principal Secretary to Government, is quite cryptic in regard to the steps taken by the said officer to make the Eye-Bank functional at Government Medical College, Jammu. Nothing has been stated as to what action the officer has decided to take with a view to procure the requisite machines, so that the Eye-Bank becomes functional. DB directed respondents to file an affidavit within a period of two weeks. |
