Jammu, Oct 27: A three- day long All India Football Tournament began today at J.P World School. The tournament has been organized by J.P World School in collaboration with TRJ Football Academy. Ranjeet Kalra , member BCCI, J&K State Sport Council & Vice- President, J&K Wushu Association was the Chief Guest on the opening day of the tourney which will be held from 27th to 29th October in this school premises. He declared the tournament open by releasing the balloons in the presence of K.L. Dogra, Principal MV International School and J.S. Hundal Principal J.P. World School and Ricky Kumar founder TRJ Football Academy. Various teams form Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and J&K are taking part in the said tournament. The participant teams from Jammu includes J.P. World School, TRJ Academy, GD Goenka Public School, M.V International School and APS Akhnoor. The mesmerizing opening ceremony was marked by flag hoisting followed by cultural programme by the tiny tots of J.P. World School. The event was compeered by Adishree and Sumbul 9th Grade students of the school. In the opening match of under -14, J.P. World School defeated Harvest Public School, Ludhiana (Pb.) by 1-0 whereas in under -17 JP World School smashed Delhi Football Academy, New Delhi by 5-0. The third match remained draw between MV International and J.P. World School. In under -12, TRJ Football Academy defeated J.P. World School by 1-0. |
