Ramban, Oct 28: In order to check the trafficking of illicit liquor and its illegal sale, on the directions of SSP Ramban Anita Sharma, a police during checking one suspected person recovered 87 quarters of illicit liquor from a bag which he was carrying.
He has been identified as Sajad Ahmed resident of Verinag, Anantnag. In this regard case FIR no.174/18 U/S 48(a) of excise act stand registered against the accused person at P/S Ramban added that investigation has been taken up. |
