| Blood donation camp organized | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 28: A Blood Donation Camp was organized by Anjuman-e-Imamia Jammu at its head office Karbala complex to commemorate 40th day of the sacrifice of Imam Hussain (a.s) and his companions at Karbala 1440 years back. While speaking to media, Prof. Sujat Khan Secretary Amjuman said that they were bound to serve society as learned from the sacrifice of Karbala Martyrs that service to masses is the main motive of ISLAM. He said that Anjuman is serving the society in general and community in particular. He further added that blood donation is one of the biggest donation.
A huge number of donors donated for this generous cause from different communities.
On the occasion Senior journalist Sohail Kazmi also donated blood and while talking to media said that Anjuman is doing a great job by organizing this blood donation because everyone is benefited out of this irrespective of religion and caste. |
