| Six Gamblers arrested, Rs 38500 recovered | | |

In an endeavour to curb the menace of Gambling in the society, City Police today claimed to havr arrested six gamblers from City Area and recovered over Rs 38000 as stale money.
Police spokesman said that police team headed by Inspector Vishal Sharma-SHO Police Station City and SI Ashwani Kumar-incharge Police Post Residency Road arrested six persons namely Khurshid Ahmed alias Munna of Talab Kharikan, Pardeep Kumar of Miran Sahib, Chetan Sharma of Bishnah Rohit Gupta of Jewel Jammu, Naresh Kumar of Nai Basti and paramjeet Singh of Gandhi Nagar and recovered Rs 38500 and playing cards from their possesion.
All the six gamblers were booked under section 13 Gambling Act. |
