| FPTI condoles demise of slain BJP leaders | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 5: A meeting of Forum for Peace and Territorial Integrity was held here under the chairmanship of its chief Patron and Senior Political leader Sheikh Ab. Rehman (Ex-MP) and deeply mourned the assassination of a prominent BJP leader Anil Parihar and his brother Ajeet Parihar at the hands of suspected terrorists in Kishtwar Town. Expressing deep sympathy with the bereaved family, Rehman demanded high level impartial inquiry involving all angles so that truth comes to fore. He wondered as how no security measures were taken when sneaking of terrorists into Chenab valley to strike in a high way was sounded about 10 days earlier.
He attributed the incident as a deep rooted conspiracy to revive the militancy or to polarize the society to damage the communal harmony in the otherwise calm region hither to fore and termed it a complete failure of both State and Central Govt. to handle and solve this vexed problem for last 70 years. He appealed the general masses of Chenab valley to keep peace and communal harmony at all costs and not get misled through rumours. Prominent among those who attended the meeting include I.D. Khajuria, Ram Singh Chauhan, Mohd Shafi Sheikh, Advocate Jamil Kazmi etc. |
