| BJP leader's killing: Attackers identified, will be brought before public soon: Governor | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 5: Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik on Monday said that those behind the killing of senior BJP leader Anil Parihar and his brother Ajit Parihar in Kishtwar have been identified and will be brought before public soon.
Talking to media persons after the reopening of civil secretariat in Jammu, the Governor said that both the killings were the handiwork of militants. "The killers have been identified and they will be before you soon," he added.
Anil Parihar and his brother were shot dead in Kishtwar town's Tapal Mohalla by some unidentified gunmen from a close range Thursday night. The killings brought the highly volatile Kishtwar town on the edge making the district administration impose a curfew there.
The area is now limping back to normalcy with administration relaxing curfew daily. |
