| VCE Lakhanpur organizes quiz competition | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Nov 5: A quiz competition based on the life of Swami Vivekananda was organized in the campus of Vivekananda College of Education, Lakhanpur (Kathua) today by Vivekananda Kendra Pathankot. The main aim to organize it was self-realization and awareness of general public. O.P. Abrol Co-ordinator and K.S. Mahajan & D.P. Dhiman members conducted the competition. A large no. of students & staff of the College were present on the occasion. Principal of the College Dr. Anju Sharma introduced the guests to the audience. She welcomed them and threw highlights on the preachings of Swami Vivekananda. O.P. Abrol was the quiz master and K.S. Mahajan & D.P. Dhiman were the judges of the quiz competition. Questions related to the life of Swami Vivekananda were the basis of quiz competition. Students participated whole-heartedly. They answered the questions with patience & intelligently. Whereas Sheetal got the first position, Bindu & Deepika secured 2nd & 3rd position respectively. Winners were given away prizes by the Kendra. Participants with good scores were also awarded. Prabhjot, Ruchi, Lalita, Shruti & Kavita were among the recipients. |
