Conditions imposed on Private Schools is injustice: KK Rao | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 8: Kuldeep Kumar Rao an active member of Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice has expressed great anguish and surprise, that education sector, being the backbone of every civilized country, has been meted out a casual & callous attention in the entire country in general & state of J&K in particular. This fact was in an unprecedented manner noticed by none other than Former Chief Justice of India, T.S. Thakur who happened to visit an Institution of his schooling days-Central Basic Hr. Sec. School Purani Mandi, Jammu in 2016. Noticing the wretched & pathetic conditions of the School, he could not control his emotions & virtually broke down in presence of huge gathering as also some state Ministers including former Education Minister-Naeem Akhtar, commenting emphatically as to how this important sector is being handled by the successive governments in the heart of Summer Capital of State Government? Rao said that if the condition of Education sector is in wretched condition under the nose of state government, the plight of far off rural areas can be gauged glaringly. The condition of all Government Schools at present is same. Rao said that the 32 conditions imposed on private schools are highly in-genuine when none or very few of them are imposed on govt. schools. It is pathetic to mention that the condition of government schools have not improved during the past 50 years which fact made the son of the soil T.S. Thakur hon'ble Chief Justice of India in 2016. |
