| Golfer Association holds Diwali Cup | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 8: As many as 40 golfers teed Off for the Diwali Golf Cup organized by the Jammu Tawi Golfer Association in association with the golfers of the Jammu Tawi Golf Course (JTGC) at the lush greens of JTGC Sidhra.
This was an initiative of a golfer of JTGC Sidhra to celebrate the brotherhood and sports on the day of Diwali.
The event was a first of its kind in the Sidhra golf course where the members came together to arrange and organize an event in an effort to promote golf in the region and celebrate the festival of Diwali in a different way.
The tournament was a great success, and on the request of the members of the JTGC, it was decided to hold such type of events on a regular basis. This will also help to promote tourism when such a big event would be conducted in future where golfers from different parts of India will also participate.
At the conclusion of the event, the winners under various categories were awarded. |
