| Chennani-Udhampur track unsafe for travelers this winter | | |

Srinagar, Nov 11 : The passengers who were stuck in snow recently on the Srinagar-Jammu highway here on Sunday said that Chennani-Udhampur track is a dangerous accident prone area and almost unsafe for the travelers this winter.
A legion of travelers while narrating a woeful tale during the recent snowing on Srinagar-Jammu highway alleged that the authorities of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) are carrying out the work at a snail's pace despite seeing vehicles dancing on the sketchy track. Though the condition of the road is unfit for the movement of traffic from Ramban-Ramsoo also where the landslides come down frequently and traffic gets disrupted but the Chennani-Udhampur track has become unsafe for travelers this winter as the repair work is going on at a very snail's pace. |
