Ramban, Nov 18: Amit Bharti elected as president of Municipal Committee, Ramban and Mohammad Khalid Wani elected Vice- President here today through secret voting held at MC Office Ramban under the supervision of Returning Officer (Tehsildar), Ramban, Om Prakash.
After declaring the result Tehsildar handed over the certificates to newly elected president and Vice-president in the presence of EO, MC, Ramban Ravinder Sharma, prominent leaders, workers and citizens. Likewise S. Ravinder Singh was elected as president of Municipal Committee, Batote and Kewal Krishen Gupta as Vice- President here today unopposed. Returning officer (Tehsildar), Batote, Amit Manhas today handed over the certificates to newly elected president and Vice-president in the presence of prominent leaders, workers and citizens. Similarly, in Banihal, Farooq Ahmed Wani and Ashok Kumar, were elected unopposed as President and Vice-President of the Municipal Committee, Banihal respectively.
They were handed over the certificates by the Returning Officer (Tehsildar) Banihal, Javed Ahmed Sheikh in presence of the SDM, Banihal, Zamir Ahmed Rishu, Executive Officer, Municipal Committee, Banihal besides prominent leaders, workers and citizens. |
