| Followers of Rampal observe black day | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, Nov 18: The followers of controversial self-styled godman Sant Rampal today observed black day at Kathua and alleging fake cases against him. Dozens of followers carried out a protest march in the city on Sunday and carrying banners demanding the release of Rampal.
A rally was organized which started from the Malaghar Chowk and it went through various areas of city and culminated at the Deputy Commissioner's office Kathua.
Followers demanding revocation of criminals cases registered against Rampal. They said our sant Rampal was doing services for the welfare of the people and society. He was the one who stood against the dowry menace, corruption, drugs, and was treating girls and boys equally. "Three years ago, on this day, the Haryana government created ruckus at dera of Rampal in Barwala, Haryana, and the police had arrested the santji. The police also injured innocent people during the firing. To bring out truth behind the entire incident, government should handover the probe to the CBI" followers demanded. |
