| SOS Hermann Gmeiner School celebrates Annual Fest | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 18: A gala annual festival was celebrated in Hermann Gmeiner School, Jammu in the school campus with gaiety and fervour. Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor JMC , Jammu was the Chief Guest and Munish Sharma X Vice chairman JAKFED , Jammu was the Guest of Honour on this occasion. Besides other distinguished guests and parents large number of gathering was also present. Principal Ramesh Kumar Dhar welcomed and introduced the guests followed by presentation of bouquets and welcome songs. The program began with the traditional lighting ceremony and display of attractive cultural items like folk music, group dances etc. On this annual Festival number of stalls comprising of food stalls and fun filled games stalls were displayed. The audience enjoyed the food along with games. Camel riding remained the star attraction for children. There was exhibition of Science , Art & craft, expression and yoga also. Earlier the prize distribution ceremony was also held. The chief guest gave away medal and certificates to students who excellence in different areas speaking on the occasion the chief Guest praised the academic excellence of school. He also associated the school management for providing equal opportunities to poor and needy children to excel in their life and become useful asset to society. He congratulated Principal, staff and students for organizing such a grand festival. |
