Jhansi Ki Rani Laxmibai Jayanti celebrated on her 183th birth Anniversary | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 19: Sanskrit scholar's tribute paid to Jhansi Rani Laxmibai Jayanti on his 183th birth anniversary. Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust celebrated 183th birth anniversary by organizing a function, under the presidentship of trust President Mahant Rohit Shastri. Large number of people from different walks of life who were participated in the function.while speaking on the occasion Trust president Mahant Rohit shastri highlighted the bravery of Rani Laxmi Bai who struck terror in hearts of the British during 1857 war of Independence, and called upon girls to take inspiration from the life of warrior queen. Jhansi ki Rani Lakshmi Bai(Mani karnika) was a True Patriot and one of the leading warriors of India's first war of Independence 1857. Jhansi ki Rani Laxmi bai was a symbol of Courage , bravery, patriotism, respect of girl child, perseverance and resistance to British rule. Jhani ki Rani Laxmi Bai fought till her last breath for the welfare of Indian women and for the noble cause of India's independence. Rani Lakshmibai was born in the town of Varanasi into a Marathi Karhade Brahmin family.She was named Manikarnika and was nicknamed Manu. Her father was Moropant Tambe and her mother Bhagirathi Sapre (Bhagirathi Bai). Her parents came from Maharashtra. |
