Jammu leaders accept 'humiliation', Ladakhis their self-respect | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 19: Even as state BJP leadership is trying to present a brave face after resignation of prominent Ladakhi leaders from the party, it is believed that policies of the central BJP leaders to appease Kashmir centric leaders at the cost of Jammu and Ladakh are main reasons of brewing anger among leaders of Ladakh and Jammu. Ladakh leaders, who have self-respect and concern for their people have started speaking against Jammu based power-hungry leaders, they are still accepting "humiliation and insult for the lust" of power. Credible sources said that Jammu based leaders are also very much aware about the policy of a top BJP national leader to appease Kashmir based leaders. These leaders are of the opinion that the national BJP leader has crossed all limits to appease Kashmir centric leaders. "But they have no guts to speak against the leader as their only aim is to secure the power," sources added. Like Ladakh, central leadership of BJP has "humiliated and insulted" people of Jammu as far as fulfilling aspirations and wishes are concerned but none of the BJP leader have so far mustered courage to speak against the BJP leadership for appeasing Kashmir centric leaders at the cost of Dogras. "Veteran leaders of Ladakh repeatedly asked the top BJP national leader to look into their grievances but his priority was always Kashmir," sources added. They said instead of looking into the grievances of Ladakhi people, BJP leadership appointed immature and incredible leaders as incharge of Ladakh to rub salt on the wounds of Ladakhi people. They said that it was all due to the "indifferent attitude" of the top BJP national leader that central leadership completely ignored wishes and aspirations of the people of Ladakh and Jammu. |
