Jammu, Nov 19: A world toilet day awareness program was held at block headquater Reasi today where ADDC Reasi Ramesh Kumar was the chief guest while ACD Reasi Dr Sunil Sharma was guest of honour.
Large number of students and locals, DPO Reasi Parvinder Kour, BDO Pouni OP Bhagat , BDO Reasi Adil Iqbal were also present on the occasion.
The participants were made aware about twin pit toilet, and importance of open defecation free reasi. Stress was laid on maintaining sustainability of open defecation free status of district. The speakers called upon the students and local to spread the message among all about importance of sanitation and use of toilets. |
