Sat tours Ward 37, interacts with locals | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 24: In order to check the basic amenities being provided to the masses, Former Minister Sat Sharma (CA) extensively toured Ward 37 of Jammu West Assembly segment along with Corporator of the Ward Sunita Gupta and with a large number of people including local residents and political activists of the area. During his visit in the ward, locals hailed the development done in the Ward by Former Minister and also sought redressal of some grievances from him. Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that a fruitful tour was conducted in numerous areas of the Ward and some problems including covering of a Nullah and work for two lanes were discussed with the locals for which Former MLA stated that, some amount was sanctioned days back for the construction of these two lanes and as far as the Nullah is concerned, it has been told to the concerned officials of UEED (Urban Environmental Engineering Department) to take up the works of the same as soon as possible. He said more than 10 crores Rupees were spent in Ward 37 during his tenure as MLA and now the face of whole Ward is changed as every basic facility including Power, Water, Roads and other things have been provided to the residents of the Ward at their doorsteps. Sunita Gupta said that it is the dedication of our Former MLA that he visits every Ward in his routine and interacts with locals which proved out to be a boon for Ward 37 and Jammu West Assembly segment as well and now whole Constituency and lakhs of people living in Jammu West have witnessed development under his tenure as MLA. The locals of the Ward also expressed their gratitude towards Former Minister by taking a quick action on their grievance of construction of a lane in the area by Black topping whose work was taken up after Sat Sharma recommended for starting its work to the concerned authorities.
Chaman LAl Kanathia, Sahil Gupta, Sangeeta Verma, Kulbir Singh, Rakesh Gupta, Vicky Sharma, Bodh Raj, Pankaj and several others were also present when Former Minister conducted tour in the ward.
