JAMMU, Nov 24: Ranjit College of Education Organised Inter-College Rangoli competition in collaboration with INTACH-Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage(Jammu Chapter).
Participating teams were from Ranjit College of Education ,Sant Mela Singh College of Education ,K.C College of Education and Cybernetic school kunjwani Jammu.They prepared rangoli depicting the cultural heritage of Jammu like Jhiri Mela,Kashmiri culture,Bahufort and Dogri culture. Programme was judged by Prof. Prikishit Manhas from Hospitality Department, University of Jammu and Prof.Anurag Gangal department of political science, Jammu University. Dr S.M Sahani ,former director tourism department,J&K and convener INTACH Jammu chapter, co-convener Kuldip Wahi, Prof.B.D Gupta controller Board of professional studies, Prof.Manjit singh department of travel and tourism management, central university of jammu and barnika Gupta, conservative architect.
Dr Renu Gangal, Principal RCE Welcome the dignitaries and students. S.Ranjit singh, Patron RCE was the chief guest. Whole programme was managed and compared by Prof. Ritu Choudhary and Prof. Devinder Singh. Er manmeet Singh,Chairman RCE, complimented the winners and praised the efforts of the participants. |
