| Shehjar Bahrain organizes Sangarmaal-V | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 24: Shehjar Bahrain organized Sangarmaal-V an annual cultural event connecting the Kashmiri diaspora living in Bahrain to their roots and heritage on 23rd November 2018 in Manama, Bahrain 7.30pm onwards.
Shehjar Bahrain had invited young "Gaashtaarukh" winners Master Vansh Pandita and Ritika Raina to perform at the event and had arranged screening of Alakh Ishwari Mata Roop Bhawani a film by Kanwal Peshin through Athrot supported by Shri Alakh Sahiba Trust Regd.. The young stars Vansh and Ritika left the audience spellbound by their excellent performance, singing one upon the other hit Kashmiri folk songs. The soulful Kashmiri music took the audience back to the valley for a moment and made them recall their life, love and Joy which they lived in the valley before migration.
On this occasion, the film made by Kanwal Peshin of Athrot Jammu, on the life and teachings of Alakh Ishwari Mata Shri Roop Bhawani recently released in Jammu was screened in the jam packed hall the audiences liked it very much and applauded the efforts putin by team Athrot led by Kanwal Peshin, Pardeep Pandita, Arvin Tickoo.
Ajay Jinsi, a leading Kashmiri entrepreneur in Bahrain and the major patron of Shehjar Bahrain addressed the gathering. Speaking at the event, Ajay Jinsi lay emphasis on preserving Kashmiri culture, values, traditions and language without which the identity of Kashmiri pandit community can face extinction. Ajay Jinsi and his Shehjar Bahrain team promised to organize more such events in future to hone young talent and preserve the Kashmiri culture for future generations he praised Gashtaruk team led by Gautam Rwina and Athrot team led by Kanwal Peshin. Sanjeev Goutam Raina an enthusiastic "Gaashtaarukh" founder thanked the passionate Shehjar Bahrain team which co-ordinated this lively event. |
