| NC wins 7, BJP 4 seats of Sarpanches in Nagsini block | | | Asif Iqbal Naik

KISHTWAR, Nov 24: In the 3rd phase of ongoing Panchayat elections in Kishtwar District, the National Conference backed 7 Sarpanches managed to win the election from Nagsini block of Kishtwar constituency while BJP manage to win four seats while Independent Candidate won one seat out of 12 seats of Panchayat in the block while both the parties manage to win almost equal number of Panch wards.
As per the details avail able with Early Times, NC backed Candidate Safoora Begum (Dool A), Jaswant Singh (Cherji), Zeena Begum (Kwar), Mohammad Iqbal Kichloo (Chirol), Mohammad Ashraf (Pyas), Mehraj Din (Chicha) while Abdul Gani Lone (Bagna C) won the election unopposed.
Similarly BJP backed candidate Salochna Devi (Bhattan), Om Prakash (Pullar), Darshan Kumar (Galhar) won the election while Kanchan Devi (Bagna A) won the election unopposed while Gulshan Ahmed (Dool B) is the other candidate who also won the election, however both NC & PDP claim that Gulshan Ahmed belongs to them. |
