Objectionable posts against Government | Handlers of arrested youth on police radar, more arrests likely | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 1: After the arrest of Waqar Bhatti for posting objectionable comments against the Govt on social networking sites, some persons who are believed to be the handlers of the arrested youth are on police radar and may be arrested soon. If sources are to be believed, the arrested youth is a school pass out and there are some persons behind him who used to prepare posts for him which he circulated through social networking sites. "Police are working to identify the handlers of Waqar Bhatti who prepared posts for him", said sources adding that so far police have successfully identified two of his handlers. Meanwhile Executive Magistrate granted 4 days remand of Bhatti to Police. Police sources further said that one handler of Bhatti belonged to Kashmir and other to Chenab valley. It is pertinent to mention here that on November 29, police post Narwal received an information from reliable sources that one Waqar Bhatti son of Mohd Bashir of Saaj Tehsil Thanamandi Distt Rajouri presently staying at Malik Market Jammu with criminal intention was posing objectionable comments against the Govt on social networking sites. Police following permission from District Magistrate lodged an FIR No. 303/2018 under section 124 A of RPC against the accused and arrested him. |
