| Equal development of Panchayat Hakkal will be core issue: Swarn Lata | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 2: Constituting her campaigning for ongoing panchayat elections in the State, a Sarpanch candidate from Hakkal Panchayat Swarn Lata urged the voters to vote in favour of development.
Addressing in a programme held at Ward No 7 at Chatha Mill, Swarn Lata asked the voters not to fall in the hands of divisive forces and luring gullible people with their unrealistic and tall promises. She further shared her vision in context with the development of Panchayat Hakkal and said that her priority will be to make the entire panchayat as Model Panchayat and equitable development will be done in all wards with the consultation of the concerned Panchs and other nominated members of the area. "Total transparency will be ensured in expenditure of the funds meant for Panchayats. Making women of the panchayat financially self reliance will be given boost by engaging them in employment. Permanent canal distributes will be constructed for irrigation purpose so that farmers could get adequate irrigated water," she said. She said that the camps will be organized of all Government Departments to sort out the problems of the locals and pension benefits of widows and elderly people will be ensured. |
