SRINAGAR, Dec 2: All India Jammu and Kashmir Bank Officers Federation on Sunday held a peaceful protest demonstration here in Srinagar against State Administrative Council (SAC) order to convert J&K Bank into a public sector undertaking (PSU).
The protesting employees assembled here in the Bank's headquarters and chanted slogans "Roll back SAC decision".
President of the federation, Tassaduq Madni, said the protests will continue until the decision is not revoked. The protesting employees appealed the governor Satya Pal Malik to revoke the order. |
