| Encounter breaks out in Shopian's Sangran village | | | An encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in Sangran village of Shopian in J&K in the wee hours of Monday morning.
Initial reports trickling in suggest that security forces pinned have down the terrorists and are exchanging gun fire. There are no reports of injuries as yet.
Around 2 to 3 terrorists are believed to be trapped in the area. This comes after two terrorists were killed in an encounter in the Khrew area of Jammu and Kashmir`s Pulwama district last week.Arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain terrorists. The police stated that no collateral damage took place during the encounter. |
