| Navdeep Singh shines in Div Level Speedball Champ | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 6: Navdeep Singh, a student of Humanity Public School (Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana) brought Laurels to the school by winning the Divisional Level Speedball Championship - 2018. This Championship was organised by Deptt. Of Youth Services and Sports, J&K which was recently concluded at Sports Stadium, Kathua.
Navdeep Singh a student of Ninth Standard, clinched the title by giving big defeat to his opponent. After winning the Gold Medal he was selected for the Nationals. He will represent the J&K State in the Nationals. He was honoured in the special assembly by Gaurav Charak (Principal) along with Anku Charak (Vice Principal) & the staff members. Principal lauded the efforts and hardwork done in the training of such students by their coach Sahil Janjua. He was happy to see that students of the school are qualifying for the National School Games. He hoped that Navdeep will get Gold in the nationals also. On this occasion Principal of the school said that the school management is committed to promote Physical Education in school and in this regard sports infrastructure are being upgraded & enhanced in the school every year for providing platform to the students to take part in different sports activities at various levels. |
