Jammu, Dec 6: Aasif Ali Bhat, a research student at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University SMVDU, Katra presented a paper entitled "Trust on Local Government and Support for Tourism Development: A study of the Local Residents of Kashmir Region" in an ICSSR sponsored conference, organized by the Dept. of Economic Studies, School of Social Sciences, Central University of Punjab (CUJ), Bathinda, on 'Sustainable Management Practices: Trends, Issues & Challenges'. Bhat got an opportunity to interact with eminent academicians as well as researchers and tourism experts from different states of India who are working in the field of policy formulation and planning for the development of tourism in the country.
The candidate has been working under the supervision of Dr. Kakali Majumdar, Faculty, School of Economics, SMVDU, and Prof. R. K. Mishra, Director, Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Hyderabad. Bhat was grateful to his guides and mentors for their guidance and support and expressed his gratitude to Dr. Sanjeev Jain, Vice-Chancellor, SMVDU for providing him with an environment for a high quality research. |
