Bodh Raj elected Sarpanch of Surinsar

Jammu, Dec 12: Independent candidate Bodh Raj Singh was declared as Sarpanch of Surinsar Panchayat that went to polls in the ninth and last phase of Panchayat elections on Tuesday. Singh was polled 654 votes while his arch-rival Subash Singh got 542 votes. After he was declared as winner, Bodh Raj Singh thanked the electorates for reposing faith in his leadership.
