Mass copying during Paramedical exams brings JKPC under scanner | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 12: Mass copying during paramedical examinations brought Jammu and Kashmir Paramedical Council (JKPC) under scanner as students were seen copying in a few centres in the presence of the staff, as well as technicians and other staff deputed top prevent copying. Number of photographs in the possession of Early Times, clearly show that the students of Kishtwar and other district were found cheating and copying from book pages and other material. It has been alleged that money was paid to facilitate copying. The irregularities have put a question mark on conduct of examinations. Entrusting lower staff instead of the faculty members to hold examination has also been questioned. Concerned people while accusing the authorities of inaction said nothing will haoppen this time as well. According to them, the persons who facilitated copying in lieu of money are politically connected and well in a position to evade official action, if at all it is taken. Advisor to Governor K Vijay Kumar could not be contacted for comments. |
