| Patwar Association holds election for Srinagar, Mehmood-ur-Rehman is President | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Dec 12: Mehmood-ur-Rehman was today elected as President for District Srinagar of the Jammu & Kashmir Patwar Association while as Peer Shafat Rasool was elected as Vice President of the Association for Srinagar.
A spokesman of the Association told Early Times that the elections were held today at Revenue Institute Complex Bemina. The spokesman said that while Mehmood would be President, Shafat would be his deputy in the Srinagar district. He said the elections were supervised by State Association President, Sajjad Sidiq.
The spokesman said that Shoaib Nadeem was elected as Publicity Secretary, Javed Ahmad Mir as Cashier, Manzoor Ahmad as Secretary and Ishtiyaq Qadir as Accountant. Fayaz Ahmad conducted the proceedings and extended vote of thanks to the members for taking part in the programme. |
